Heise Claims Individual Title as Pride Finish Fifth at GNAC Championships
STANDISH, Maine – Regis College Women's Track and Field scored 46 points at the 2025 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship this weekend, earning a fifth-place finish, while Aubrey Heise (Mattapoisett, Mass.) claimed the individual title in the 800 meters.
Heise ran a 2:27.27 in the 800 meters, finishing 3.10 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. She then followed that up with a second-place finish in the 1500 meters, clocking in at 5:06.65.
Aleyo Amasa-Titus (Georgetown, Mass.) secured third place in the 200m dash with a time of 26.62 seconds and the long jump with a mark of 4.81 meters. Aleyo then joined Janet Amasa-Titus (Georgetown, Mass.), Olivia Dench (Center Moriches, N.Y.), and Abby Kilbride (Peabody, Mass.) in the 4x100 relay, where the team finished second with a time of 51.59 seconds, qualifying them for the New England DIII Championships. Dench then placed just outside the top three in the 100m dash, finishing fourth with a time of 13.06 seconds.
Next weekend, alongside Dench and Kilbride in the 4x100 relay, Aleyo and Janet Amasa-Titus will also compete individually at the 2025 New England DIII Outdoor Championships.
