Mia Carll Named GNAC Rookie of the Week for Third Time This Season

WESTON, Mass. — As announced by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) today, first-year forward Mia Carll (Shrewsbury, Mass.) has been named Rookie of the Week for the third time this season after another standout performance for the Pride.

Carll found the back of the net in both of the team's matches last week. She opened the week with a goal in a 4-0 win over Saint Joseph's College (Maine) on Oct. 28 in the regular-season finale, before netting one of her best goals of the year - an insurance score - in a 2-0 upset victory over Colby-Sawyer in the GNAC Quarterfinals on Nov. 1. With that win, Carll helped lead the Pride to their first GNAC Semifinal appearance since joining the conference in 2017.

She finished the week with five shots, including three on goal, capping another impressive stretch for the rookie forward.

Carll and the Pride are back in action on Wednesday, November 5 at Emmanuel College for the GNAC Seminfinals with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
