Bodhidatta Nabs Defensive Player of the Week Honors
WINTHROP, Mass. – Jay Bodhidatta (Bangkok, Thailand) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Defensive Player of the Week after recording 22 digs over seven sets to average 3.14 digs per set in a 1-1 weekend in New York, marking the sophmore's first weekly GNAC honor.
In the first match against Nichols, he posted 14 digs (4.67 d/s), then followed up with eight digs (2.00 d/s) in the Pride's four set victory over Bard helping the Regis College Men's Volleyball team secure the 1-1 weekend.
Bodhidatta and the Pride will return to action tomorrow, March 18th, when they host American International College at Higgins Court for a 6 p.m. match.
