Pride Women’s Soccer Tabbed Fourth in GNAC Preseason Poll
WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College women's soccer team has been projected to finish fourth in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Preseason Coaches' Poll, announced by the league office earlier this week. The Pride received 139 points in the voting among the conference's 14 teams.
The Pride return several key contributors from last season, including offensive leaders Sienna Santiago (Brewster, N.Y.) and Delaney Scanlon (Dracut, Mass.), who posted 21 and 12 points, respectively, in 2024. Regis also brings back two All-GNAC honorees in Aleyo Amasa-Titus (Georgetown, Mass.) and Brooke McAloney (Hanson, Mass.), providing experience and leadership across the field. Defensively, senior goalkeeper Cassidy Van Cott (Santa Monica, Calif.) anchors the back line after recording a career-high 70 saves with a .795 save percentage and five shutouts last fall. In addition, the program welcomes 10 newcomers to the roster as it looks to add depth and maintain its place among the conference's top contenders.
Regis opens the 2025 season on Friday, August 29, traveling to UMass Dartmouth for a noon kickoff. Conference play begins one week later when the Pride visit Rivier University on Saturday, September 6, with game time set for 11 a.m.
