Mia Carll Named GNAC Rookie of the Week After Five-Point Performance
WESTON, Mass. – First-year, Mia Carll (Shrewsbury, Mass.) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week for women's soccer, following a breakout performance that helped guide the Pride to their first conference victory of the season.
Carll played a pivotal role in a dominant 6-0 win over New England College, contributing five points on two goals and one assist. Her offensive spark helped set the tone early and fueled a well-rounded team effort that secured the team's first GNAC win of the year.
This honor marks the first weekly award of Carll's young career and also represents the first GNAC weekly recognition for the women's soccer program this season.
Carll and the Pride will look to carry that momentum into their next matchup on Wednesday, September 24, as they travel to Paxton, Massachusetts to take on Anna Maria College. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
