Pride Relay Posts Season-Best at New England DIII Championships
NEW LONDON, Conn. – Aleyo Amasa-Titus (Georgetown, Mass.) and Janet Amasa-Titus (Georgetown, Mass.) represented the Pride individually at the New England Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend, hosted by the United States Coast Guard Academy, before joining forces with Olivia Dench (Center Moriches, N.Y.) and Abby Kilbride (Peabody, Mass.) for the 4x100-meter relay.
In the long jump, Aleyo earned a strong 12th-place finish with a mark of 5.26 meters. Janet followed with a 23rd-place leap of 4.73 meters.
The following day, the 4x100m relay team posted their fastest time of the season, crossing the line in 51.52 seconds to place 19th overall.
