LaPorte Runs Personal Best as Regis Men Open Season at Battle of the North Shore
WENHAM, Mass. -- The Regis College men's cross country team opened its 2025 season this morning at the Battle of the North Shore, hosted by Gordon College and featuring competition from Endicott and the host Fighting Scots.
Brian LaPorte (Bridgewater, Mass.) paced the Pride with a 20th-place finish, crossing the line in a personal-best time of 19:52.7. He was followed by first-year Nathan Thomas (Medford, Mass.), who made his collegiate debut with a time of 21:36.8.
Regis will return to Gordon in two weeks to compete at the Pop Crowell Invitational on Saturday, September 13.
