Men’s Swim & Dive Collect All 100 Points at Saint Joseph’s (Maine)
STANDISH, Maine – The Regis College men's swimming and diving team took to the pool last night for an intrasquad meet, claiming all 100 available points in the competition at Saint Joseph's College (Maine).
Aryaman Nagaraj (Watertown, Mass.) earned top finishes in both the 100 backstroke (1:03.94) and 200 breaststroke (2:16.20). Cody Werner (Bettendorf, Iowa) added a pair of first-place performances in the 200 IM (2:18.09) and 200 butterfly (2:16.60), while Ryan Kim (Los Angeles, Calif.) led the way in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:24.79.
Competing in the 100 backstroke for the first time, Michael Zammuto (Burlington, Mass.) turned in a time of 1:26.81. Josh Dion (Weston, Mass.) and Andrew Martin (Raynham, Mass.) each posted bests in their first showings in the 200 butterfly, finishing in 2:33.47 and 2:40.97, respectively.
The Pride return home in two weeks to host Gordon College and Elms College in a 6 p.m. meet in Weston.
