Women's Soccer Stacks Five On Dean For Shutout Win

Franklin, Mass -- On October 22, 2025, at Grant Field on the campus of Dean College, the Pride women's soccer team delivered a commanding performance against Dean College, securing a 5-0 victory.

Sophomore Sienna Santiago (Brewster, NY) set up the Pride's offense with four assists, Julia Benvegnu (Watertown, Conn.) had 2 goals, and Leah Snyder (Hope, Maine), Lindsay Burnham (Bow, N.H.), and Delaney Scanlon (Dracut, Mass.) would each find the back of the net.

How it Happend

Regis would set the tone early scoring just two minutes into the game when Julia Benvegnu, assisted by Sienna Santiago, found the back of the net. Benvegnu would strike again at the 5-minute mark, once more assisted by Santiago again. Dean would try to get one back, but the Regis defense would shut down their oppertunities. Th game would go into half 2-0 in the Pride's favor

The second half would prove to be more of the same, when Leah Snyder scored at the 66-minute mark, with Santiago once again providing the assist, marking her third of the game. Lindsay Burnham added another goal four minutes later, assisted by Santiago, further extending the lead. Delaney Scanlon capped off the scoring with an unassisted goal at the 83 minute mark, sealing the 5-0 victory for Regis.

Regis's defense, led by goalkeeper Cassidy Van Cott, was rock solid, with Van Cott making four saves in her 72 minutes on the field. Nora Ross took over for the remaining 18 minutes, maintaining the clean sheet with two additional saves.
