Pride Compete in Bridgewater Invitational before Heise Shines at Elite Night

MEET RESULTS

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Regis College women's track and field traveled to Bridgewater, Massachusetts today to compete in the Bridgewater State University Bears Invitational, while first-year Aubrey Heise represented the Pride in New London, Connecticut at the Silfen Invitational Elite Night, where she competed in the 800m run.

Inside the Numbers:

  • Aleyo Amasa-Titus (Georgetown, Mass.) placed eighth in the 200m dash with a time of 26.46, while Olivia Dench (Center Moriches, N.Y.) finished tenth in the 100m dash, clocking in at 13.32.
  • In the field events, Emily Aho (Pelham, N.H.) earned second place in the triple jump with a mark of 9.54m.
  • Pilar Brown (Rockland, Mass.) rounded out the day with a third-place finish in the shot put, registering a throw of 8.92m.
  • Aubrey Heise (Mattapoisett, Mass.) set a new school record in the 800m at the Silfen Invitational Elite Night, finishing with a time of 2:24.68—breaking the previous record, which Heise set just a week ago by 0.11 seconds.

The Pride will head to Connecticut College tomorrow for the Silfen Invitational.
