Kim and Zammuto Represent Men's Swim and Dive in GNAC Weekly Awards
WESTON, Mass. — As announced by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) today, senior Ryan Kim (Los Angeles, Calif.) and senior Michael Zammuto (Burlington, Mass.) have been named Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively, marking their first honors of the season.
Kim recorded three first-place finishes to help the Pride to a victory over Plymouth State on Friday night. He claimed the top spot in the 50-yard breaststroke with a season-best 29.00 seconds, added a win in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.37), and closed the night with a personal-best 58.51 in the 100-yard individual medley, a time that moves him into 10th on the program's all-time list.
Zammuto claimed the top spot in the five-dive portion with a score of 117.35, then finished as the runner-up in the six-dive portion by just 6.3 points, showcasing a strong all-around performance for the Pride.
The Pride are back in the pool this Friday, November 7 when they travel to Maine to take on Saint Joseph's College of Maine.
