Kozinski and Hatin Represent Pride with All-GNAC Honors
WINTHROP, Mass. — The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced its 2025 Women's Lacrosse postseason awards, with senior defender Vanessa Kozinski (Merrimack, N.H.) earning her first career All-GNAC honor after a standout defensive season, and fellow senior Retta Hatin (Hooksett, N.H.) being named to the All-GNAC Sportsmanship Team.
Kozinski found herself on the All-GNAC Second Team following a career-best campaign on the defensive end for the Pride. Kozinski started all 18 contests for the crimson and gold and recorded a career-high 37 caused turnovers—the fifth-most in a single season in program history—along with 34 ground balls, two assists, and one goal on the offensive end. She opened the season with a dominant performance, registering a season-high six caused turnovers against Wentworth (Feb. 26), and later added five ground balls and three caused turnovers in a key GNAC win over Anna Maria (Apr. 22). The Merrimack, N.H. native consistently impacted games, finishing with 3 or more caused turnovers in five different matchups, including strong showings against Lasell, Simmons, and Saint Joseph (Conn.).
Kozinski's recognition comes as a fitting conclusion to a decorated career. She finishes her time at Regis with 101 caused turnovers, placing her fifth all-time in program history.
Retta Hatin also earned her first GNAC postseason recognition, being named to the All-GNAC Sportsmanship Team. Known for her leadership and integrity on and off the field, Hatin consistently represented the Pride throughout the season. She also enjoyed a breakout year on the field, recording career highs in games played (18), goals (8), and points (14) for the Crimson and Gold.
The Pride finished the season with a 9-9 overall record and a 6-5 mark in conference play, earning a spot in the GNAC quarterfinals.
