WINTHROP, Mass. – Second year forward Avary Hall (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) has been named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Soccer Player of the Week, announced Tuesday, Sept. 3, by the league office.
Hall played a major role as Regis began competition Friday, Aug. 30. Hall notched her first career hat trick to lead the Pride past UMass Dartmouth, 4-1, in the season opener for both teams.
Starting in the seventh minute of play, she used her speed to race past defenders, converting shots into goals. Her goal in the 26th minute was credited as the game-winning tally, and then she completed her hat trick in the 66th minute with yet another display of speed.
Hall finished her first season with eight goals and four assists to tally 20 points in 2023.
Regis (1-1) is set to travel to face Gordon College on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 4:00 p.m.
