Several Pride Players Earn Postseason Conference Recognition
WINTHROP. Mass. – After finishing eighth in the regular season standings, the Regis College women's soccer team saw several players receive recognition in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) postseason honors, as announced Tuesday, Nov. 13, by the league office.
Second year forward Avary Hall (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) was voted All-GNAC First Team after finishing the season with a career-high 19 goals and four assists for 42 total points. Hall started the season with a hat-trick contributing to the 4-1 victory over UMass Dartmouth on Aug. 30. She was voted GNAC Player of the Week on Sept. 3 after her first career hattrick on Aug. 30. Hall clinched her single-season school-record on Oct. 29 against Elms for her 15th goal of the year. Hall appeared in 22 games for the Pride this season, including 20 starts.
Second year defender Aleyo Amasa-Titus (Georgetown, Mass.) was voted All-GNAC First Team, as she played a significant role within the Pride defense. Amasa-Titus started all 22 games she appeared in while finishing the season with one goal and two assists. She contributed one goal on Oct. 26 to extend the Pride lead and earn a 7-1 victory over New England College.
Graduate midfielder Payton Bridge (Norton, Mass.) was voted All-GNAC Second Team. Bridge started in all 22 matches she appeared in. She finished the season with a career-high five goals and one assist to total 11 points. Bridge a hattrick on Oct. 12 over Anna Maria while finishing the season two for two on penalty kicks scoring on Sept. 1 and Sept. 25.
First year defender Brooke McAloney (Hanson, Mass.) has been selected to the GNAC Women's Soccer All-Sportsmanship Team. McAloney appeared in 22 games, including 19 starts for the Pride. The defender scored her first collegiate goal on Oct. 9 against Wentworth contributing to the 2-1 victory.
The Regis College women's soccer team completed the 2024 season with 10-8-4 overall record, including a 7-4-4 mark within the GNAC.
