Regis Extends Winning Streak

West Hartford, Conn.- The Regis College women's soccer team once again controlled the majority of possession on its way to a 2-0 victory over the University of Saint Joseph in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) match on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at the USJ Soccer Field.

Regis first scored in the 10th minute of play, after Maeve Glavin (Norwood, Mass.) gained possession to dribble past the Blue Jays defense, taking a shot to find the back of the net for the first Pride goal of the match.

After receiving a pass following a give-and-go sequence, Avary Hall (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) extended the Pride lead in the 28th minute of action, after drawing out the goalie to take a shot into the top right corner of the net, leading Regis 2-0 into halftime.
