WESTON, Mass. -- In the team's only match of the week, Beatriz Paulo (Newton, Mass.) led the Pride to a 3-0 sweep over Dean College, earning her first Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week honor.
Paulo made an immediate impact, posting seven kills and three digs in just two sets of play. She hit an impressive .500 on 12 attempts and added a block for a total of 10.5 points.
Paulo and the Pride return to action on Wednesday, October 15, when they host cross-town rival Lasell University on Higgins Court at 6 p.m.
